This site has been created as a context and a central meeting point to gather together online so that we can
- Have a space online other than social media to find out whats happening
- Get a sense of the richness of our community through being able to see peoples offering and gifts
- Access local education and resources
- Encourage intergenerational learning
- Connect with others in beautiful and tangible ways
- Network and co create with others
In the age of social media it’s easy to miss events and feel out of the loop with what’s going on.
As a facilitator, it’s a lot to keep up with constant posting and marketing.
Bega Valley Thrive is a central access point for finding out what’s happenning locally.
It’s easy to post and we’re getting the word out on noticeboards and in cafes.
Look out for the postcards and spread the word.
This is a community-minded project designed to be a positive feedback cycle in serving our community on multiple levels and overall, to develop resources for a connected community and a resilient future living in this amazing place, the Bega Valley.
We are excited to explore other ideas as we grow and find ways to feed resources back into the community. We hope you are inspired to get involved.
