Winter Solstice is a time to celebrate what was great, release what no longer serves you, move into the void, then return from the void to enter the new sun cycle with intention.
It’s the Southern Hemisphere equivalent of New Year’s.
The Winter Solstice Immersion has been thoughtfully planned to support you with fun, yoga, singing, women’s circles, connection, silence, alone time, reflection, nature experiences, reading of myths, art play, ecstatic dance, frame drumming, divine food and more.
Spaces will be limited to retain a feeling of peace, reflection and nourishment.
Location
This event will be held at the foot of Mother Gulaga Mountain at the Kamalashila retreat centre.
This space is peaceful, with beautiful nature to immerse in.
There are a number of accomodation options.

There are 3 warm and cosy indoor spaces with bunks.
There are also lovely, retro caravans or simple cabins which are still snuggly and private too.
If you have your own van, you can bring that, or if you’re feeling rugged, you are welcome to camp.

We have been running grassroots gatherings, women’s circles + local events for over 25 years. We are all deeply moved by our connection to the land, the seasons and nature + want to share that with others, especially women.
